Graduate research at APL-UW brings students into daily contact with skilled research personnel and exposes them to a variety of research experiences. As they mature in their training, students frequently have the opportunity to assume leadership roles as part of field programs. It is these experiences, in addition to their academic credentials, that will prepare them for successful careers. With the considerable resources and facilities of the Laboratory, students can take on more complex and in-depth research problems than might otherwise be possible.
