Research opportunities are essential for undergraduate engineering and science students. To confirm and support these students, the Laboratory provides funds for undergraduates to participate in a Laboratory research project under the supervision of an APL-UW staff member. The Laboratory provides salary support during the year of study and a one-time book allowance of $500. Applications for the Hardisty Undergraduate Scholarship are accepted during fall quarter. A generous gift from The Boeing Company provides funds to support APL-UW/Boeing Scholars each year. The Scholarship selection process and award is equivalent to the Hardisty Scholar Program.
