APL-UW exhibits and demonstrations for Washington Weekend 2008 will be staged in tented pavilions with other units of the College of Ocean and Fishery Sciences. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 26th from 10 am to 2 pm to join us for hands-on activities that will appeal to visitors of all ages.



Exhibits of ocean observing systems, polar science, undersea autonomous vehicles, and medical ultrasound technology will showcase how APL-UW integrates fundamental science and creative engineering. Washington Weekend events are being staged across the campus from Thursday, April 26th through Saturday, April 28th. Check the complete listing to plan your visit.





The Applied Physics Laboratory is a world leader in research, science, and engineering to solve some of our society's most pressing problems: enhancing national defense and homeland security, measuring the environment to understand climate change, and training the future generation of scientists and engineers to tackle research problems of ever-increasing complexity.
