Gregory Anderson has experience in systems engineering, digital simulation, statistics, optimization, expert systems, and object-oriented programming. He is applying these skills to develop technical information and analysis systems that are easy to use.
His current work includes estimating parameters for ocean environmental models from acoustic reverberation measurements, constructing a data storage and analysis system for environmental parameters, and developing a CD-ROM-based system for training firefighters in the handling of hazardous materials. Mr. Anderson joined the Laboratory's professional staff in 1990.
